Caroline MacDonald has been a music educator for over 35 years. She studied music education at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo and completed her B. Ed at Queen’s University in Kingston. She was an elementary school teacher in grades 1-6, teacher-librarian and music teacher in the Upper Grand District School Board. During this time she completed three levels of Orff Music for Children and two level of Kodaly music. In 2001 she started Musikgarten of Guelph and has been teaching Early Childhood music for 21 years. She currently teaches the Rhythmic Reading program at the Suzuki String School of Guelph, Musikgarten piano classes at her studio and teaches music at the Guelph Montessori School in Guelph. She is also a workshop presenter for both educators and students.
