Suzuki Early Childhood Education (SECE)

The Suzuki ECE program, led by Carmen Evans, is suitable for babies and toddlers. It offers a carefully-structured sequence of songs and activities, with a mixed-age group to foster learning and build bonds between parents and children.

Introductory Program 

Introductory Program allows families to learn the Suzuki Method. After, decide to register for the Full Program (private & group lessons). Program includes: parent orientation, observe 5 lessons, 2 group classes, 8-hr ECC course (2 days, parent only).

New Student

New students may be newcomers to the SSSG Introductory Program or transfers. Registration requires the submission of a form, and students can opt for grocery card fundraiser participation, and volunteer positions.

Returning Students 

Returning students must have been in SSSG for at least 1 year and continuing in full program. Older students can register for Music Enrichment classes as recommended by teachers. Only parents listed on registration form will receive announcements and newsletters.

Every Child Can (ECC) course 

The Suzuki Program's ECC Course is 8 hours over 2 days. Families of new students must complete it and it's the first step in teacher development. The cost of the course in included in the registration fee for the Introductory Program. If individuals not registered with the school wish to attend, they can register here.

Teacher Development 

Course seminars cover Suzuki Method®, private & group lessons, volumes 1-8 of the Suzuki repertoire, scales, technical exercises, studies, supplementary repertoire, teaching strategies, childhood development, learning challenges & Body Mapping®.
