Group Classes and

Music Enrichment

One of the main tenets of the Suzuki philosophy that makes the program unique are the group classes and orchestras that allow the students to build friendships and connections with the musical community.  The SSSG offers weekly group classes at the GYMC as well as opportunities to perform with smaller groups for chamber music ensembles.

The SSSG boasts multiple  teachers hosting the group classes, orchestras and as coaches for smaller ensembles, allowing your child the unique opportunity to benefit from the learning experience of a large group of musicians in the community.

Shared Experiences - Children learn from watching and imitating their peers.  In group classes, students have an opportunity for interaction with other musicians of similar age and ability.  Children work on performance techniques in a familiar environment built on trust.  The confidence they gain here serves them well in more public performances.
